Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet FortiGate Next Generation Firewalls across all Group sites
- Administer and maintain FortiManager for centralized policy management

- Manage routing protocols and switching technologies across campus and data center
- Administer Avaya IP Office PABX system including configuration and troubleshooting
- Manage patch management lifecycle for network devices
- Collaborate with security team on network related incidents
Requirements
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiWAF
- Knowledge of network access control (NAC) and 802.1X authentication
- Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies
- Experience with Avaya IP Office PABX systems
- Experience in patch management and firmware upgrades
- Ability to provide Level 2/3 network support

Fortinet Security Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Fortinet FortiGate Next Generation Firewalls across all Group sites and entities
- Administer and maintain FortiManager for centralised policy management, device provisioning, and configuration
- Configure and manage FortiWAF to protect web facing applications against OWASP Top 10 threats
- Develop, review, and enforce firewall security policies, NAT rules, VPN configurations, and traffic shaping policies
- Maintain and optimise Fortinet Security Fabric integrations including FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and FortiClient
- Conduct regular firewall rule base reviews and clean up exercises
- Manage firmware upgrades and patch cycles across all Fortinet devices
Network Access Control (NAC)
- Configure, manage, and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions to enforce device compliance and access policies
- Implement 802.1X port based authentication integrated with Active Directory and RADIUS
- Define and enforce NAC policies for endpoint compliance checks
- Manage guest network access, BYOD policies, and quarantine VLAN procedures
- Maintain and audit NAC access logs and generate periodic compliance reports
Network Infrastructure & Architecture
- Design and maintain network segmentation architecture including VLANs, DMZ zones, and micro segmentation
- Administer routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (STP, LACP, VTP)
- Manage SD WAN configurations and WAN link failover across multi site locations
- Maintain site to site and remote access VPN infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and capacity using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, FortiAnalyzer
- Respond to and resolve network incidents within defined SLA timeframes
Patch Management
- Manage and execute the network infrastructure patch management lifecycle
- Maintain an up to date patch status register for all network devices
- Coordinate firmware and software upgrades in compliance with change management process
- Monitor vendor security advisories and assess applicability of patches
- Produce monthly patch compliance reports for IT management
Security Operations Support
- Collaborate with Group IT security team on network related security incidents
- Support implementation and maintenance of network security monitoring using SIEM platforms
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing remediation
- Contribute to development of network security policies aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and UAE regulations
Support Engineering
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 infrastructure and network support to end users
- Assist with IT helpdesk escalations related to network connectivity and VPN access
- Support new site setups, office moves, and network infrastructure expansions
- Participate in IT on call rotation for critical incidents
- Document all support activities in IT service management platform
Avaya IP Office PABX System
- Administer and maintain Avaya IP Office PABX system across all sites
- Configure extensions, SIP trunks, DID, voicemail, and call recording
- Integrate Avaya IP Office with corporate network ensuring QoS for VoIP
- Perform system health checks, software upgrades, and licence management
- Troubleshoot IP telephony issues including call quality and registration failures
- Maintain documentation of system configuration and dial plan
- Liaise with Avaya partners and telecom providers for escalated support
