Overview
- Network Engineer specializing in Aruba based wireless and core network solutions. Proven expertise in VM installation, Wi Fi design, network monitoring, L1/L2 troubleshooting, traffic engineering, and performance optimization across multi vendor enterprise environments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- VM installation and configuration.
- Provision new installed devices using Aruba Mobility controllers.
- Providing complete Wi Fi connectivity using Aruba AP, including site survey report generation and documentation.
- Managing Airwave (NMS).
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users.
- Handles complaints, takes preventive action and maintains a problem free network.
- Providing complete solution for making interconnectivity in to multiple offices.
- Daily health check of all core devices.
- Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly management reports.
- Create tickets and troubleshoot with L3 support
- Responsible for L1 & L2 troubleshooting the complete solution.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Certified in CCNP. Certificate of CCIE is preferable.
- Should have excellent knowledge in IPv4, IPv6, routing, switching, various topologies, Access points, WLAN Controllers, in Home Router, IPv4 / IPv6, TR 069, IPSEC, QoS, 802.11.
- Excellent knowledge in routing, switching protocols. Knowledge in SNMP, RADIUS, CAPWAP, LWAP protocols is a plus.
- Should have knowledge of various Network adjuncts and services i.e. AAA, EAP, E2E connectivity, Controllers, NMSs, Routers, SWs, FWs,..etc.
- Must possess excellent industry knowledge and theoretical understanding of RFC standards, 802.11 specifications (a/b/g/n/ac, SISO, MIMO).
- Experience with testing and Q/A of Layer 1 thru 7 networks.
- Experience writing and developing detailed test cases and test plans.
- Must possess expert skills and experience with server, desktop operating systems and applications (Windows, Linux).
- Strong work ethic with a desire to meet and exceed personal and business goals.
- Expert level communication, documentation, teamwork skills.
- Self motivated to take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables.
