About PALFINGER Marine
PALFINGER MARINE provides lifting and handling solutions and life-saving equipment for the maritime industry worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and verify all blasting and coating work onboard.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and ISO, NACE, SSPC, and ASTM standards.
- Conduct surface cleanliness inspections, environmental monitoring, dry film thickness checks, and adhesion testing.
- Prepare daily inspection and non-conformance reports.
- Review coating materials, material data sheets, batch certificates, and inspection and test plans.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams and mentor junior inspectors.
- Ensure compliance with client and PALFINGER HSE procedures during coating operations.
Deliverables
- Prepare daily and final coating inspection reports.
- Prepare non-conformance and corrective action reports.
- Review coating material and batch certifications.
- Compile the final coating dossier and acceptance report.
Qualifications
- NACE Level 3 certification is mandatory.
- At least eight years of coating inspection experience in oil and gas is required, with offshore experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, and related standards is required.
- Applicants must be able to work in offshore environments and comply with HSE requirements.
- Valid offshore medical and safety certifications, including BOSIET and H2S, are preferred.
