Role overview

Responsibilities

• Verify parts, tools, resources, and pre-job requirements before work begins.
• Assess equipment condition and identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Service, maintain, and repair lifeboats, davits, and cranes on vessels, offshore oil and gas platforms, and offshore wind installations.
• Follow company standards, safety procedures, and applicable industry regulations.
• Report activities to the Service Coordinator and client and complete service documentation.
• Travel at short notice, occasionally for longer periods.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical or marine engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical background in lifesaving appliances and hands-on experience with mechanical winches, lifeboats, davits, and cranes.
• Three to five years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Maritime or offshore industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability and willingness to perform moderate to heavy physical work and work at height.
• Ability and willingness to travel at short notice, occasionally for longer periods.
