Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high quality, concept driven Mathematics lessons aligned with the IB MYP Mathematics curriculum and global contexts
- Design inquiry based, differentiated learning experiences that challenge, engage and inspire all students
- Assess student work using MYP Mathematics criteria and provide meaningful, constructive feedback
- Develop units of inquiry that make connections between Mathematics, real world contexts and other subject groups
- Embed ATL skills development and interdisciplinary connections within all Mathematics teaching
- Support students' preparation for MYP eAssessment and track progress using data to drive intervention
- Fulfill Form Tutor responsibilities and contribute to the pastoral life of the school
- Contribute positively to the Mathematics department and the wider school community
Requirements
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed or equivalent)
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in an IB MYP school
- Strong knowledge of MYP Mathematics curriculum, assessment criteria and eAssessment
- Ability to plan and deliver concept driven, inquiry based and differentiated lessons
- Data driven approach to tracking student progress
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

The Successful Candidate will possess
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed or equivalent) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject

- Strong knowledge of the MYP Mathematics curriculum, assessment criteria and eAssessment
- Ability to plan and deliver concept driven, inquiry based and differentiated lessons
- A data driven approach to tracking student progress and driving improvement
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
