- Plan and deliver high quality, concept driven Mathematics lessons aligned with IB MYP curriculum
- Design inquiry based, differentiated learning experiences
- Assess student work using MYP Mathematics criteria and provide constructive feedback
- Develop units of inquiry connecting Mathematics to real world contexts
- Embed ATL skills development and interdisciplinary connections
- Support students' preparation for MYP eAssessment and track progress using data
- Fulfill Form Tutor responsibilities and contribute to pastoral life
- Contribute positively to the Mathematics department and wider school community
Requirements
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, B.Ed or equivalent)
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in an IB MYP school
- Strong knowledge of MYP Mathematics curriculum, assessment criteria and eAssessment
- Ability to plan and deliver concept driven, inquiry based and differentiated lessons
- Data driven approach to tracking student progress
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

Candidate Profile

- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
- IB MYP Mathematics workshop training desirable; international school experience desirable.
