This position plays an essential role in carrying out effective management and resolving issues that prevent inventory and assets from being processed effectively throughout the supply chain and in the aircraft production environment. This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure supply chain compliance and, ultimately, part availability to support the production line.Responsibilities:Provide supply chain guidance to internal stakeholdersProduce supply chain status reports for production readinessCollaborate with stakeholders for best solutions to minimise shortage impacts on production schedulesDevelop and maintain relationships of trust and honesty with all internal customers and external vendorsProvide support to production enquiries relating to stock availability, system processes and forecast requirementsPerform production readiness reviews and formulate and implement action plans for production rate changes.Forecast supply chain risks, impacts and provide mitigation plans to proactively manageIdentify and investigate items impacting aircraft production schedulesExecute the procurement plan to support future production lot buildsidentify and implement supply chain process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costExperience/Qualifications:A sound understanding of Supply Chain methodology and processesPrevious experience in Integrated Logistics FundamentalsAbility to work successfully unsupervised and in a team environment.Demonstrated experience of Aeronautical product requirementsAbility to identify, establish and promote supply process improvementsDemonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling open and effective communication among stakeholdersCompetent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suiteDefence Industry experience will be highly regardedApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet NV1 security clearance requirements.CultureWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
