- Excellent relationship building and communication skills

Role Overview
- We are seeking a driven, detail oriented, and customer centric Mortgage Advisor to join our growing team.
- You will evaluate their financial profiles, explain various loan options, and guide them through the entire mortgage application process from pre approval to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Meet with prospective homebuyers to assess their financial situations, credit histories, and homeownership goals.
- Loan Structuring: Analyze financial data to recommend the best mortgage products tailored to the client's needs.
- Application Management: Guide clients through the pipeline, collecting necessary documentation (tax returns, bank statements etc) and ensuring applications are complete and accurate.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all loan files comply with local and federal regulations, company policies, and lending guidelines.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the client, real estate agents, underwriters, and closing attorneys to ensure a smooth, on time closing.
- Business Development: Build and maintain a strong referral network of real estate agents, builders, and past clients to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer, advisor, or in a similar retail banking role with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities; Excellent relationship building and communication skills; High emotional intelligence to handle stressful client situations with empathy and professionalism.
