Mobile Repair Technician – Level 4 / Chip-Level | Android & iOS

Role Overview

Repair Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Android and iOS mobile phones.
• Perform Level 3 and Level 4 chip-level motherboard repairs.
• Troubleshoot motherboard faults, short circuits, power issues, charging faults, and network problems.
• Perform IC replacement, reballing, soldering, microsoldering, and component replacement.
• Repair CPU, RAM, NAND, UFS, EEPROM, power IC, charging IC, audio IC, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth IC, baseband, and other motherboard components.
• Diagnose water-damaged and physically damaged motherboards.
• Use schematic and board-view troubleshooting.
• Perform jumper work, track and pad repair, connector replacement, and other advanced board repairs.
• Resolve boot-loop, dead-phone, no-power, overheating, battery, charging, and display-related motherboard issues.
• Perform software troubleshooting, flashing, firmware installation, operating-system recovery, and software restoration.
• Troubleshoot Android and iOS software and hardware compatibility issues.

Quality and Records

• Use professional diagnostic and repair equipment effectively.
• Inspect devices before and after repair to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and technical issues.
• Ensure repaired devices meet quality standards before returning them to customers.
• Keep the repair workstation, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mobile repair technician or chip-level technician.
• Strong experience with both Android and iPhone or iOS devices.
• Level 4 or chip-level motherboard repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of mobile motherboard circuits and electronic components.
• Hands-on experience with microsoldering and IC-level repair.
• Ability to diagnose complex hardware faults independently.
• Good knowledge of mobile phone schematics and board layouts.
• Experience with professional repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong software troubleshooting and flashing knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and handle difficult repairs.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Two or more years of experience are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as starting from AED 1.00 per month.
