Join Capgemini Engineering as a Mobile Engineering Lead shaping next-generation connected vehicle and mobility experiences.

Own the Companion App platform, lead people, and drive technical excellence across the mobile ecosystem.

Your role

  • Own the Companion App technical roadmap and platform evolution strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end transitions covering repositories, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, documentation, and supplier knowledge transfer.
  • Provide hands-on leadership across iOS, Android, and BFF services.
  • Oversee mobile security practices including OAuth2/OpenID Connect, certificate management, API security, SSDLC, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Build internal capability through mentoring, coaching, hiring, onboarding, and engineering communities of practice.
  • Conduct code reviews and collaborate with the Solution Architect on robust, maintainable architecture.
  • Coordinate planning, releases, dependencies, production issues, and integration challenges.

Your profile

  • 8-12 years of software engineering experience and 3-5 years in a Technical Lead or Engineering Lead capacity.
  • Enterprise-scale iOS and Android delivery experience using Swift and Kotlin.
  • Backend and cloud proficiency with REST APIs, microservices, BFF architecture, Java Spring Boot, and Azure or AWS.
  • Mobile security and platform governance experience, including authentication, secrets, access control, and secure supply chains.
  • Experience with supplier transitions, source code migrations, and platform ownership handovers.
  • Ability to lead and grow engineering teams through mentoring, coaching, and community building.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, release management, automated testing, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Automotive, connected vehicle, telematics, mobility, or IoT experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
