The role is a Mobile Apps Engineer working on Jetpac's Android and iOS applications using React Native.
The position is based in Gurugram, India, with a hybrid work setup and full-time employment.
Engineers own features end to end from product and UX understanding through development, testing, release, and iteration.
AI-assisted and agent-based development workflows are expected to be a core part of software delivery.
Core responsibilities
- Build and ship Android and iOS features using React Native.
- Own features from problem definition and solution shaping through development, testing, release, and iteration.
- Use AI-assisted workflows across coding, debugging, testing, and code review.
- Collaborate with Product and Design on simple, polished mobile experiences.
- Write and maintain automated tests and improve product quality.
- Resolve performance, reliability, and UX issues.
- Improve features using product data, user feedback, and production insights.
- Work with backend engineers on reliable end-to-end experiences.

Required skills and experience
- 2–3 years of professional mobile software development experience.
- Strong experience building production applications with React Native.
- Experience shipping and maintaining both Android and iOS applications.
- Experience with mobile APIs, state management, navigation, and native device capabilities.
- Strong understanding of mobile performance, debugging, and automated testing.
- Experience with REST APIs and backend services.
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted or agent-based development workflows.
- Ability to review, debug, test, and improve AI-generated code.
- Some experience with UX principles and mobile interaction patterns.

- Build Jetpac mobile experiences across eSIM discovery, purchase, activation, and management.
- Improve mobile experiences to increase conversion and usability.
- Build product capabilities and integrations across the Jetpac ecosystem.
- Improve app startup time, rendering performance, API efficiency, and reliability.
- Build AI-assisted workflows that accelerate feature development, testing, and debugging.
Success measures
Ship high-quality mobile features quickly and use AI to materially increase development velocity.
Take ownership of implementation and contribute to moving features into production.
Make the app faster, more reliable, and easier to use.
Improve the team's ability to build and ship mobile experiences.
