Role summary
The role is a hands-on Mobile Development Lead responsible for technical direction, quality, and delivery of native and cross-platform mobile applications.
The position is a player-coach role involving line management of at least five engineers while continuing to write and review production code.
Trading or capital-markets application experience is strongly advantageous.
Leadership and engineering
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of at least five mobile engineers across iOS, Android, and Flutter.
- Own capacity planning, estimates, delivery commitments, hiring, onboarding, and team development.
- Remain hands-on for complex features, technical spikes, performance work, and production fixes.
- Own mobile architecture, modularization, dependency management, shared components, and platform abstraction layers.
- Set design-pattern standards and prevent architectural drift.
- Own application security, performance, offline behavior, accessibility, and app-store compliance.
Quality and delivery
- Define coding standards, branching and release strategies, static analysis, linting, and test coverage thresholds.
