Role Overview
STATERA is seeking a Mobile App Test Automation Engineer for an onsite position in Dubai.
The role builds and maintains automated UI tests for Android and iOS applications.
The work focuses on visual consistency and reliable application releases.
Responsibilities
- Develop Android UI tests with Espresso and iOS UI tests with XCUITest.
- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable test frameworks and automated suites.
- Implement Snapshot Testing to detect visual regressions.
- Validate UI consistency across devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions.
- Test dynamic content and complex user journeys and investigate rendering issues and failures.
- Review requirements early, identify test scenarios, and apply shift-left testing.
- Define and monitor release quality gates and quality metrics.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with both Espresso and XCUITest.
- Experience designing mobile UI automation frameworks and maintainable test suites.
- Experience with Snapshot Testing and visual regression testing.
- Understanding of test design patterns, testability principles, and automation best practices.
