Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technical Specialist (Solar Engineer) for a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
The role involves designing, planning, and supervising solar energy projects, performing site assessments, and creating technical specifications.
The Solar Engineer will also monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is key to ensuring project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in solar system design, installation, and maintenance
- Experience with energy performance analysis, load calculations, and software tools such as PVsyst or AutoCAD
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Understanding of industry standards, safety measures, and regulations related to solar energy
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Previous on-site experience in solar energy projects is highly desired
- salary range 5500 qar to 8000qar depending on technical experience
