MNC Group looking for a Solar Technical Specialist (Solar Engineer)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• :
• Conduct technical site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations.
• Design PV systems using software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope).
• Prepare technical documentation, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and system specifications.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend optimization strategies.
• Support installation teams with technical guidance during commissioning and testing.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and product selection for solar components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the solar industry, preferably in a technical role.
• Knowledge of solar design tools (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PV*Sol).
• Familiarity with NEC codes and local regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• :
• NABCEP Certification or equivalent.
• Experience with energy storage systems (ESS) and hybrid solar setups.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis and system performance reporting.
