Requisition ID 8738 - Posted - more than 5 years Oversee and manage the planning and execution phases of minor projects within the Projects Department, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and technical standards and quality control procedures Review and revise regularly the execution section procedures and provide support in reviewing the projects department procedures Review the business plan and ensure resource planning Collaborate with Execution Section Manager to develop execution strategies, allocate resources, and create project execution plans that align with projects objectives. Ensure Preparation of contract, purchase and service orders and drafts tender packages, including Scope of Work, technical requirements, reference specs/standards, and administrative procedures. Review construction project planning activities, including, but not limited to, preparing work plan, schedule, resource histograms and all other associated activities. Implement safety protocols, risk mitigation strategies, and emergency response plans to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment during project execution. Ensure all risk assessment required by company procedure are conducted and mitigation plan are in place. Prepare projects contracts schedules “B”, “C” and “H” and review other schedules with internal stakeholders. Follow-up on and assure the proper completion of specific work tasks and deliverables in alignment with contracts documents, applicable codes and approved design. Submit weekly execution highlights to Execution Section Manager Evaluate and select external contractors, suppliers, and service providers based on their technical expertise and ability to deliver on project requirements. Review all change orders and support the negotiation with contractors. Conduct regular progress meetings to review and update projects execution progress and resolve construction problems. Ensure compliance with all SATORP environmental health and safety procedures and regulations. Investigate incidents/accidents. Encourage and control risk analysis of any unusual operational activities. Attend periodically group safety meetings. Mentor and coach execution staff to enhance their technical competencies, leadership skills, and safety awareness. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Execution Section Manager.
