A confidential company in Fujairah seeks a Mining Engineer to manage mine planning, production, and equipment for limestone quarrying. The role involves designing extraction sequences, optimizing production, and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement short term, medium term, and long term mine plans
- Design quarry benches, haul roads, dumping areas, and extraction sequences
- Monitor quarry reserves and ensure optimum utilization of mineral resources
- Plan and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly limestone production targets
- Coordinate drilling, blasting, excavation, loading, and transportation activities
- Supervise operation and utilization of mining equipment
- Ensure compliance with mining regulations and company policies
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
Requirements
- Experience in mine planning and development
- Experience in production management for limestone or similar
- Knowledge of mining equipment operation and maintenance
- Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations

Mine Planning & Development
- Prepare and implement short term, medium term, and long term mine plans.
- Design quarry benches, haul roads, dumping areas, and extraction sequences.
- Monitor quarry reserves and ensure optimum utilization of mineral resources.
- Conduct geological and topographical assessments.
- Prepare production forecasts and mine development schedules.
Production Management
- Plan, monitor, and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly limestone production targets.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of limestone.
- Analyze production data for productivity improvement.
- Coordinate drilling, blasting, excavation, loading, and transportation.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost control measures.
Equipment Management
- Supervise operation and utilization of mining equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for equipment availability.
- Monitor equipment performance and fuel consumption.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and fleet optimization.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with mining regulations and company policies.
- Promote strong safety culture.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
- Maintain mining records and statutory documentation.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and plant teams.
- Support management in budgeting and resource planning.
