Role Overview
The Minibar Attendant ensures that guest-room minibars are accurately stocked, maintained, and presented according to hotel standards.
The role provides efficient and discreet service to hotel guests.
Minibar Operations
- Check and replenish minibars according to established par levels and standards.
- Record minibar consumption and ensure charges are posted or communicated according to hotel procedures.
- Check expiry dates, product quality, packaging, and presentation.
- Maintain stock levels, assist with inventory control, and keep equipment and storage areas clean and hygienic.
Guest Rooms and Coordination
- Report missing items, damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and unusual findings promptly.
- Follow room-entry procedures, respect Do Not Disturb signs, and protect guest privacy.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Finance, and Food and Beverage teams when required.
- Minimize wastage through proper FIFO product rotation and maintain accurate stock and consumption records.
Standards and Service
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and brand standards.
- Provide courteous and professional service whenever interacting with guests.
Qualifications
- Previous minibar, housekeeping, room service, or hotel operations experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock-control procedures.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Guest-focused, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
