Role overview
The Millwork Project Coordinator supports reporting, maintenance, expediting, and coordination across the project cycle.
The role supports retail-environment projects involving millwork, metal, glass, and acrylic production.
Key focus
- Coordinate activities from order entry through project completion and respond to issues in a timely manner.
- Partner with manufacturing and other functions to support critical activities and customer delivery.
- Maintain sales orders, project information in Vantage, ship schedules, timelines, and project documentation.
- Coordinate manufacturing, shipping, installation, shipments, and deliveries.
- Provide shipping instructions, customer service, sales support, and Project Manager backup.
- Complete store quantity takeoffs for multi-store rollout programs.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education is required.
- Millwork and/or store-fixture industry experience is required.
- Spreadsheet experience using MS Office programs is required.
- Intermediate to expert MS Word and Excel skills are required.
- Understanding of MRP fundamentals is preferred.
- Strong organization, initiative, independent working ability, multitasking, communication, and customer-service skills are required.
