Role Overview
The Middle East Credit Control Junior Specialist sits within the Credit Control Team in Commercial Finance.
The role acts as a business partner to the Middle East business.
The primary focus is accounts receivable, invoice tracking, and payment management.
The position is a temporary 9-month maternity cover.
Responsibilities
- Support Accounts in tracking and collecting payments.
- Upload invoices in Etimad and track payments.
- Manage client relationships and escalate issues to management.
- Prepare for MDP meetings and complete assigned actions.
- Provide input to the monthly cash forecast and highlight cash-flow gaps.
- Coordinate Wrike updates and ensure usage across the Credit Control Team.
- Allocate payments for assigned accounts.
- Respond to accounts receivable queries, including statements of account and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external deadlines.
What You Will Bring
- University degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Practical experience ranging from internships to 2 years of professional experience.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic, with the ability to work mainly in English.
- Working knowledge of Saudi tax laws, VAT, and e-invoicing.
- Experience working in a virtual team.
- Experience with Oracle, Business Objects, and other accounting and analysis tools.
- Positive and collaborative relationship-management approach.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Motivation to learn new knowledge and topics.
