Role Overview
The Middle East Credit Control Junior Specialist sits within the Credit Control Team in Commercial Finance and acts as a business partner to the Middle East business.
The role focuses primarily on accounts receivable, invoice tracking, payment management, and financial and business reporting.
The position is a temporary nine-month maternity cover.
Responsibilities
- Support accounts in tracking and collecting payments, including uploading invoices in Etimad and tracking payment status.
- Manage client relationships, escalate issues to management, and prepare for MDP meetings and assigned actions.
- Provide input to the monthly cash forecast and highlight gaps to help manage cash flow.
- Own Wrike updates and encourage usage across the Credit Control Team.
- Allocate payments for managed accounts and respond to accounts receivable queries, including statements of account.
- Understand and comply with internal and external deadlines.
Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent qualification through relevant experience.
- Relevant practical experience ranging from an internship to two years of professional experience.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic, with the ability to work mainly in English.
- Working knowledge of Saudi tax laws, VAT, and e-invoicing.
- Experience working in a virtual team and with Oracle, Business Objects, and other accounting or analysis tools.
- Collaborative relationship management, improvement-oriented thinking, self-motivation, resilience under pressure, and willingness to learn.
