Role Overview
The Middle East Credit Control Junior Specialist sits within the Credit Control Team in Commercial Finance and acts as a business partner to the Middle East business.
The role focuses primarily on accounts receivable, invoice tracking, and invoice management.
The position is a temporary 9-month maternity cover.
Responsibilities
- Support Accounts in tracking and collecting payments.
- Upload invoices in Etimad and track payments.
- Manage client relationships and escalate issues to management.
- Prepare for MDP meetings and complete assigned actions.
- Provide input to the monthly cash forecast and highlight gaps to help manage cash flow.
- Act as the single point of contact for Wrike updates and ensure usage within the Credit Control Team.
- Allocate payments for accounts under management.
- Respond to accounts receivable queries, including statements of account and other documentation.
- Understand and ensure compliance with internal and external deadlines.
What You’ll Bring
- University degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant practical experience ranging from an internship to 2 years of professional experience.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic skills, with the ability to work mainly in English.
- Working knowledge of Saudi tax laws, including VAT, and e-invoicing.
- Experience working in a virtual team.
- Experience with Oracle, Business Objects, and other accounting and analysis tools.
- Ability to work positively and collaboratively with various teams to understand requests and deliver effectively.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement.
- A results-driven and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Motivation to gain new knowledge and learn new topics.
