Mid-Level Developer (Java/Backend)

Proficiency in Java and familiarity with other languages (e. g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript)

Strong experience with databases such as Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Aurora and understanding of databases, data structures, algorithms, and indexes

Familiarity with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like VueJS for front end applications

Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Strong skills preparing and presenting design/architectural documents to clients

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

Experience with data search and discovery platforms such as OpenSearch highly preferred

Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, Lambda, etc.) and best practices

Experience with leveraging IaC developing automated deployment and orchestrations solutions using TerraForm, CloudFormation, and other scripting tools

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)

Work Authorization:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance.
