- Execute and support operational aspects of booked business (e.g., proposals, contracts, correspondence)

- Understand overall market trends and competitor strengths/weaknesses
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer loyalty
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field with 3 years sales experience OR Bachelor's degree with 1 year sales experience
- Experience in sales and marketing or related professional area

Job Overview
- The position is responsible for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities.
- Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.
- Assists in leading all day to day activities related to sales and focuses on building long term, value based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives.
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field; 3 years sales experience.
- OR Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field; 1 year sales experience.
Core Work Activities
- Collaborate with off property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and complementary.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers for future bookings.
- Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base.
- Manage and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to event management.
- Participate in sales calls with sales team members to acquire new business and/or close business.
- Execute and support operational aspects of booked business (e.g., proposals, contracts, correspondence).
- Identify new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
- Understand overall market conditions and identify best opportunities for the hotel.
- Understand target customers and provide better business solutions.
- Support company's service and relationship strategy to increase customer loyalty.
- Provide excellent customer service consistent with daily service fundamentals.
