Position overview
The role completes hotel marketing plans, manages ecommerce opportunities, and builds relationships with tourism boards and community leaders.
The position is in the Sales and Marketing category at the Palm Jumeirah hotel location.
Education and experience
- Applicants need a high school diploma or GED plus two years of sales, marketing, or related experience.
- Alternatively, applicants may have a two-year accredited university degree in marketing, business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or a related field, with no experience required.
Daily marketing activities
- Coordinate regional promotions for rooms, food and beverage, spa, and golf.
- Develop leisure marketing plans with rates, packages, and programs designed to increase occupancy.
- Maintain, update, and manage all hotel websites.
- Coordinate loyalty-program email publications, inserts, offers, and information.
- Write manuals and hotel collateral.
- Support hotel imagery work, including signage and photography.
