Position Overview
Lead and motivate the banquet team while personally assisting with high-quality service delivery.
Oversee banquet financial and administrative duties, including asset protection and communication with event stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two years of banquet management, catering, or related professional experience is required.
Manage Banquet Operations
- Forecast banquet supply needs, including china, glassware, silverware, buffet displays, and props.
- Apply relevant banquet laws, standards, policies, procedures, and hygiene requirements.
- Manage events to maximize customer satisfaction and support overall banquet success.
- Manage inventory and equipment, and use beverage records to control liquor costs.
- Schedule banquet service staff while maintaining service standards and profitability.
- Build lasting relationships with teams and groups to support business growth.
Lead the Banquet Team
- Set goals and delegate tasks to improve departmental performance.
