Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Acquisition Specialists to achieve and exceed merchant acquisition targets
- Design and execute sales strategies to drive new business growth and expand Paymob’s merchant network across the UAE
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring effective prospecting, follow up, and conversion activities
- Monitor team performance through KPIs, sales analytics, and regular performance reviews
- Identify and engage key decision makers across target sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, FMCG, and e commerce
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to support lead generation initiatives and ensure seamless merchant onboarding
- Develop strong relationships with merchants, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling/cross selling opportunities
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Prepare and present performance reports, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or merchant acquisition
- At least 2 years in a leadership role managing a sales team
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within fintech, payments, merchant acquiring, POS, or related technology sectors
- Strong understanding of the UAE market and key industries
- Hands on experience selling POS systems, payment solutions, or similar hardware/software products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly preferred
- Must be currently based in the UAE

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a sales team.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within the fintech, payments, merchant acquiring, POS, or related technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of the UAE market, business landscape, and key industries including retail, hospitality, healthcare, FMCG, and e commerce.
- Hands on experience selling POS systems, payment solutions, or similar hardware/software products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high performing sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales analytics tools to drive performance and reporting.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior decision makers and key business stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly preferred.
- Must be currently based in the UAE.
