What you'll do
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies.
- Analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to determine product needs.
- Stock sales floor shelves and create attractive product displays.
- Ensure retail staff are informed about product details and promotions.
- Maintain and track inventory.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales.
- Maximize customer interest and sales through appropriate product displays.
- Produce store layout plans and maintain store shelves and inventory.
- Forecast profits and sales and plan budgets.
- Monitor stock movement, markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clearances.
- Build customer relationships and work with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
- Remain up to date with industry best practices.
What you will need
- High school diploma is required as the minimum qualification.
- Previous Modern Trade Merchandising experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to understand customers.
- Valid driver's license.

- Good organizational and decision-making skills are desirable.
- Strong customer service skills are desirable.
