Responsibilities
- Interact with customers regarding minimum order quantities, displays, and store planograms.
- Gather stock status and ensure share of shelf.
- Check the validity of municipal approvals for promotions.
- Analyze stock data to ensure FIFO merchandising principles are followed.
- Analyze competitor pricing, new product introductions, and stock movement trends.
- Report on non-moving and slow-moving stock and recommend changes to management.
- Mentor new merchandisers when required.
- Identify merchandising process improvements and support visual displays that improve product offtake.
Requirements
- At least two years of merchandising experience is required.
- At least one year of experience in a similar FMCG business is required.
- A Qatar light vehicle driving license is mandatory.
- Fluent English is required.
- Secondary school-level education is required.
