Opportunity Overview
The employer is inviting UAE-based MEP graduates and freshers to develop a career in quantity surveying.
The role provides structured training and practical exposure to pre-contract commercial work across construction projects.
The position is presented as a Junior Measuring Quantity Surveyor opportunity within the MEP graduate pathway.
Role Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings, specifications, reports, BIM models, and tender documentation.
- Measure structural works, architectural finishes, structural steel, external works, landscaping, earthworks, and site works.
- Assist with Bills of Quantities using POMI and other recognized measurement standards.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for current information and discrepancies.
- Raise Requests for Information when missing information or discrepancies are identified.
- Support value engineering and update quantities after revised drawings, addenda, and RFI responses.
- Work with estimators, package managers, team leaders, and quantity surveyors to capture project scope.
- Assist with tender assumptions, qualifications, Schedules of Departures, and quantity reconciliations.
- Gain exposure to post-award measurement, variations, and quantity updates.
- Maintain organized measurement records and follow company quality procedures and best practices.
