Role Overview
Coordinate construction logistics to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery.
Work with project management, procurement, commercial, warehouse, plant, subcontractor, supplier, and site teams.
Communicate management directives and support effective coordination between logistics personnel and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily logistics operations and ensure the logistics plan is implemented according to site requirements.
- Coordinate site materials, equipment, deliveries, resources, traffic management, waste removal, and housekeeping.
- Direct and monitor foremen, operators, drivers, subcontractors, and logistics labour within the assigned scope.
- Maintain planners, trackers, work sequences, material controls, storage arrangements, and resource utilization.
- Ensure licenses, certifications, MSRAs, permits, site welfare, environmental controls, and safe work practices are maintained.
- Represent logistics in meetings, prepare minutes, and promote adoption of the internal online portal.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of English.
