Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting) on site to ensure work matches approved drawings
- Manage and expedite approvals with UAE authorities (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, Dubai Municipality, etc.)
- Coordinate closely with civil teams, interior fit out teams, and sub contractors to avoid service clashes
- Enforce QA/QC standards and safety regulations on site; inspect incoming MEP materials for approval
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and progress reports to ensure project stays on schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3 5 years of MEP site experience specifically in the UAE
- Deep knowledge of UAE authority regulations, local building codes, and DEWA/Civil Defense guidelines
- Proficient in AutoCAD and reading complex MEP schematics
- Strong communication skills to manage sub contractors and clients
