Responsibilities
- Review tender documents including drawings, BOQs, specifications, scope of work, and contract conditions
- Conduct detailed quantity take offs for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and BMS systems
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing schedules, and complete bid submissions within deadlines
- Issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors, and evaluate technical and commercial offers
- Prepare vendor and subcontractor comparison reports to support pricing and supplier selection
- Analyze project requirements to ensure compliance with client and consultant standards
- Identify scope gaps, technical clarifications, and bid stage qualifications
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to validate technical solutions and pricing
- Develop value engineering proposals and cost saving alternatives
- Maintain updated databases for unit rates, supplier quotations, and historical project costs
- Prepare commercial and technical submittals for tender packages
- Support smooth project handover to execution teams with complete cost breakdowns and assumptions
Requirements
- Strong expertise in tendering, cost estimation, and bid preparation for large scale MEP projects
- Experience in reviewing tender documents including drawings, BOQs, specifications, scope of work, and contract conditions
- Ability to conduct detailed quantity take offs for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and BMS systems

Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented Estimation Engineer – MEP Systems to join our team in Qatar.
