The MEP Draftsman will support the design and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for infrastructure projects.
The role requires accurate drawings that comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, layouts, and schematics based on engineering designs.
- Translate engineering concepts and calculations into accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines to avoid clashes.
- Update and revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback.
- Maintain organized drawing records and documentation according to project standards.
- Support site teams with as-built drawings and technical clarifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related drafting field.
- Solid experience in MEP drafting for infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D.
- Revit MEP proficiency is a plus.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and infrastructure design standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within tight project timelines.
