Role Overview
MEP BIM Modeler role based in Trivandrum, Kerala.
The role develops and coordinates Revit MEP models for electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Revit MEP models for electrical and mechanical systems according to project standards.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP services for clash-free design output.
- Conduct model audits, clash detection, and coordination meetings using Navisworks or equivalent tools.
- Ensure compliance with company BIM execution standards and international design codes.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and discipline leads to meet delivery timelines.
- Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and submission logs.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Minimum one year of hands-on experience in Revit MEP modeling.
- A diploma, B.E., or B.Tech qualification is listed, with the detailed qualification specifying Mechanical Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings.
- Good command of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks Manage.
- Revit MEP certification is required.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and LOD 100–500 standards is preferred.
