Educational and Candidate Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates awaiting final results may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering, quantity surveying, estimation, drawings, and BOQ preparation.
- Good numerical, analytical, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn, work in a team, and maintain accuracy in calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quantity estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimates.
- Study drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Support tender documents and contractor quotations.
- Collect and compare material and labour rates.
- Check quantities and estimates with senior engineers.
- Maintain estimation records and coordinate quantity clarifications with design and project teams.
- Prepare comparative statements for vendor and contractor quotations.
Skills and Learning Areas
- Working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred, and AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
- Training includes quantity estimation, take-off, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, tender estimation, cost comparison, and quantity surveying.
- Training also covers drawing interpretation, construction materials and rates, MS Excel for estimation, and estimation reports.
Additional Conditions
- Experience level is 0–1 year or fresher.
- English is required.
- Day-shift availability is required.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.
- Work location is in person.
