Core Duties
- Repair and maintain washers, dryers, and small appliances.
- Plan, monitor, install, and adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment using an energy management system.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair industrial HVAC systems, chillers, heat exchangers, fans, motors, pumps, controls, and protective devices.
- Install mechanical systems, including piping and modifications to existing facility cooling systems.
- Use and update blueprints, technical manuals, manufacturer files, and other records.
- Monitor outside contractors for compliance with state and federal code requirements and report to the supervisor.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on packaged units, split coil systems, compressors, pumps, air handlers, condensers, chillers, and heat exchangers.
Candidate Requirements
- Perform duties and responsibilities of a journeyman-level mechanic.
- Have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Have hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting industrial systems.
- Reliably commute to Doha or plan to relocate before starting work.
Compensation
- The position pays up to QAR 3,500 per month.
