The General Accountant manages account entries, documents, payments, and company finances.
The role records internal financial transactions and transactions with clients and affiliates.
Responsibilities
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and keep accounting records current.
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other reports using standard accounting practices.
- Report the company’s financial status and trends to management.
- Prepare budgets and forecast future cash flow needs based on projected sales.
- Review financial statements and recommend reporting adjustments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, collect payments, and identify non-payment risks.
- Prepare reports on sales, cash flow projections, and inventory levels.
- Review purchase orders for compliance with company policies.
- Analyze financial data for trends, opportunities, and risks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Middle East regional experience is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance is preferred.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Four to five years of experience in the accounting field is required.
- Tax experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with corporate finance is required.
Compensation
- The pay is up to QAR 7,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
