Manage account entries, documents, payments, and company finances.
Record and handle internal financial transactions and transactions with clients and affiliates.
General Accountant Responsibilities
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and keep accounting records up to date.
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other reports using standard accounting practices.
- Provide management with reports on financial status and trends.
- Prepare budgets and forecast future cash flow needs based on sales forecasts.
- Review financial statements and recommend adjustments to improve reporting accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including payment collection and non-payment risk identification.
- Prepare reports on sales figures, cash flow projections, and inventory levels.
- Review purchase orders for compliance with company policies before processing.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for strategic decisions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Middle East regional experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
- Four to five years of experience in the field.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Tax experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with corporate finance.
Job Type and Pay
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is up to QAR 7,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is conducted in person.
