- Assess and underwrite medical insurance applications for individual and SME clients
- Review medical declarations, health records, and supporting documentation to evaluate risk
- Generate accurate and timely quotations for new business and renewals
- Analyze medical and underwriting information to make sound risk assessment decisions
- Liaise with internal teams, brokers, and sales teams to clarify underwriting requirements
- Ensure underwriting decisions comply with regulatory requirements and company service standards
- Maintain accurate underwriting records and documentation within internal systems
- Contribute to achieving departmental turnaround times and service level agreements (SLAs)
Requirements
- 5 6 years of medical underwriting experience in an Insurance Company
- Ability to assess and underwrite medical insurance applications
