Mechatronics Intern / Co-op Winter 2027

Trexo Robotics is enabling mobility by building powered wearable robots. Our first product is a robot for children with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and it allows kids to walk, in many cases, for the first time in their lives. The device is currently being used by hundreds of families and the best hospitals across North America.

We currently have Trexos all over North America and as more and more devices are being used we need to strive to make sure they all work perfectly and reliably. We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineering intern to help with design, documentation and testing of existing of new products/features and improvements to existing products. This position is in-person at our office in Mississauga (6705 Millcreek Dr.) What you'll do

Develop prototypes for new R&D parts, fixtures, packaging and jigs.

Update CAD drawings and BOMs

Create and update Engineering Change Orders

Researching and selecting off the shelf components

Assist with designing and setting up experiments and tests.

Troubleshoot product issues from returned devices (software, electrical and mechanical).
