Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Technician (Pumps & Motors)
- to carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps and motors, including motor rewinding and bearing replacement, ensuring reliable and safe operation of mechanical systems.
- The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Maintain and repair centrifugal, submersible, booster, and sump pumps
- Perform motor bearing replacement, lubrication, and pump–motor alignment
- Carry out electric motor rewinding, dismantling, reassembly, and basic testing (IR & continuity)
- Inspect and replace mechanical seals, couplings, impellers, shafts, and bearings
- Troubleshoot issues such as leakage, vibration, overheating, noise, and performance loss
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and support flooding‑related pump operations
- Follow HSE, PTW, and LOTO procedures always
- Maintain maintenance records and workshop housekeeping
