Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment in continuous operation plants
- Install, remove, fix back, and maintain pumps, blowers, compressors, fans, turbines, valves, vessels, columns, exchangers, pipes, and other static equipment
- Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary
- Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify detected faults
- Read and understand isometrics, mechanical drawings, and datasheets
- Clean, preserve, and maintain removed parts of equipment
- Record keeping in CMMS
- Comply with company Life Saving Rules and HSEQ procedures
Requirements
- Engineering Diploma in respective discipline (12+3 years)
- 6 years relevant and hands on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry
- Working level proficiency in English language
- Hands on experience with SAP EAM module preferred
- Knowledge of PTW system

- Mekdam Holding Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician for Mechanical Utilities Plants & Product Handling.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read, Write, speak and Understand competency in English language.
- Shall be well familiar with hazardous chemicals/materials used in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry.
- Shall always adhere to company Safety requirements.
- Shall have knowledge about PTW system and pass COMPANY's PTW and PTW acceptance authorization post training assessment tests.
- Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY's Maintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and regulations.
Position Qualifications, Experience and Competency
- Engineering Diploma in respective discipline (12+3 years)
- 06 years relevant and hands on experience in respective discipline, in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and competency
- Hands on experience of the Work order part of EAM module of SAP would be preferable.
Detailed hands on experience and competencies requirements
- Mechanical maintenance and Troubleshooting activities in the continuous operation plants for all major types of rotating and static mechanical equipment.
- Installation, removal fixing back and maintenance of Pumps & Blowers, compressors, fans, Turbines, all types of Valves, Vessels, Columns, Exchangers, Pipes, and other static equipment.
- Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary. Handling different type of tools used for maintenance activities and work in high elevation with adequate safety protective equipment.
- Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify the detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
- Thorough understanding of the Isometrics, mechanicals drawings and datasheets.
- Cleaning, preserving & maintaining the removed parts of the equipment.
- Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
- Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record in his past working.
- Read, understand, and execute the jobs as per standard operating procedure/ work instruction.
- Comply with company Life Saving Rules as per PSa 001 Life Saving Rule Document.
- Comply with all relevant procedures of company Integrated Management System comprising of Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA Product Stewardship & energy Management System.
