About the Role
Mekdam Holding Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer for large EPCC projects in the oil/gas or petrochemical/fertilizer industry in Doha. The role involves project planning, execution, coordination, and compliance with engineering standards.

Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, execute, monitor, and control assigned projects to meet quality, schedule, cost, scope, safety, environmental, and energy requirements
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, project requisitioners, team members, production, and maintenance representatives
- Apply relevant engineering codes, standards, design basis, specifications, engineering procedure, technical requirements, and good engineering practices
- Develop and conduct systematic and thorough review of engineering deliverables and support site execution
- Identify and follow the right Contract execution strategy, develop tendering deliverables, conduct technical evaluations, assist in commercial evaluation
- Provide technical support to Project execution section for construction activities, manage contractual issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University
- 7+ years direct and relevant discipline experience in large EPCC Projects related to oil/gas or petrochemical or fertiliser industry
- Experience in Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer Projects/Plants is an advantage

Role Overview
- Roles in this level have responsibility for planning, prioritizing, executing, monitoring, and controlling of Projects in an efficient and systematic manner.
- They have a prime role, whenever they are assigned the role of project coordinators, in coordinating with team members, multiple trades and stakeholders to ensure smooth running of projects.
- They also must work as discipline members in various projects to execute discipline related scope and deliverables.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan, prioritize, execute, monitor, and control all assigned projects' activities in either the role of project coordinator or member.
- Ensure necessary communication with project requisitioner, internal & external stakeholders, team members, production, and maintenance representatives.
- Ensure regular reporting on projects (cost, schedule, cost phasing, forecasting, accruals, KPIs, scorecard variations etc.) and conduct regular review meetings.
- Identify and follow relevant codes & standards, design basis, specifications, engineering procedure, technical requirements, and good engineering practices.
- Work along with Engineering Section to develop and conduct systematic and thorough review of engineering deliverables and support to site execution.
- Identify and follow the right Contract execution strategy, identify relevant suppliers, develop tendering deliverables, conduct technical evaluations, assist in commercial evaluation.
- Achieve coherence and synergy in team and provide necessary leadership / guidance as required.
- Keep informed of project management and technological developments, identify and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support to Project execution section for execution of all construction activities.
- Manage contractual issues between Company and various project related Contractors.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University
- 7+ years direct and relevant discipline experience in large EPCC Projects related to oil/gas or petrochemical or fertiliser industry.
- Experience in Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer Projects/Plants is an advantage.
