Role overview
A UAE MEP contracting company is hiring senior mechanical project and site engineers for HVAC and plumbing construction work.
The role involves executing installations on MEP construction projects, including high-rise buildings and villa communities.
The work requires construction-site installation, shop-drawing interpretation, material planning, and labor productivity management.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
- At least 3 years of experience executing plumbing or HVAC installations in MEP construction projects is required.
- Experience with high-rise buildings and villa communities is specified.
- Knowledge of reading shop drawings and implementing installations at site is required.
- The candidate must be able to extract material quantities and prepare material order requests.
- The candidate must understand site requirements for progressing construction work.
- Experience controlling labor, assigning targets, monitoring productivity, and managing manpower against the project budget is required.
- Technical knowledge of HVAC or plumbing systems and related technical calculations is required for the senior level.
