Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team for an island-based building project in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have strong UAE experience in building mechanical works, with prior experience working with an engineering consultancy and strong site supervision and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor mechanical works at site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical services.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and other disciplines.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of mechanical works.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams.
- Identify site issues and coordinate appropriate technical solutions.
- Review RFIs, technical submissions, and consultant comments.
- Monitor testing, inspection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure mechanical installations comply with project specifications and applicable UAE standards.
- Maintain site inspection records, reports, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project progress and highlight technical or quality concerns.
