Role Overview
A detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector is sought for an engineering team in Dubai.
The role covers mechanical systems and components on commercial building, retail, mall, construction, and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical installations across commercial, retail, mall, and renovation projects.
- Verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Document defects and non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and work procedures.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
- Maintain inspection reports and project records.
- Monitor on-site progress and quality of mechanical work.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during inspections.
Qualifications
- At least eight years of mechanical inspection or related experience.
- At least five years of experience working in the UAE.
- Experience with commercial buildings, retail outlets, malls, and renovation projects.
- Valid driving license and personal car.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
