Role Overview
Arabian Ceramics is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its plant in Alkhomra, Jeddah.
The engineer is responsible for plant mechanical equipment, machinery troubleshooting, and mechanical system design and manufacture.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 2 years of work experience is required.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and plant equipment is required.
- Knowledge of ceramic tile manufacturing procedures and standards is required.
- Knowledge of industrial safety and security measures is required.
- Knowledge of ISO systems is an added value.
Technical Skills
- Required knowledge includes transmissions, drives, gears, bearings, couplings, and gearboxes.
- Required knowledge includes hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, motor drives, conveyors, and presses.
- Required knowledge includes basic fabrication and machining operations such as drilling, grinding, and welding.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise troubleshooting of plant mechanical equipment and machinery.
