Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will plan, coordinate, and deliver L2–L5 commissioning activities for assigned systems or areas.
The role is responsible for technical compliance, quality, readiness for acceptance, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
L2 – Installation Verification
- Lead verification of installation readiness.
- Review and approve installation checklists, ITPs, and Method Statements.
- Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria.
L3 – Individual Element
- Prepare commissioning plans and witness commissioning of individual plant and equipment items.
- Verify correct operation, settings, controls, and protections.
- Confirm stability before progression to system testing.
L4 – System Functional Testing
- Coordinate and witness system functional tests.
- Verify sequences of operation and system responses.
- Confirm compliance with design intent and operational requirements.
