Role Overview
The ELV Engineer - CxA plans, coordinates, and delivers L2-L5 commissioning activities for assigned data centre systems or areas.
The role combines technical delivery, documentation, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring technical compliance, quality, and readiness for acceptance.
L2-L5 Commissioning Responsibilities
- Lead verification of installation readiness and review installation checklists, ITPs, and method statements.
- Ensure installations meet commissioning entry criteria.
- Plan and witness commissioning of individual plant and equipment items.
- Verify operation, settings, controls, protections, and stability before system testing.
- Coordinate and witness functional tests and verify sequences of operation and system responses.
- Support Integrated Systems Testing, validate resilience and recovery outcomes, and assist with client acceptance activities.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Require 5-8 years of commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex facilities.
- Proven data centre or critical infrastructure exposure is mandatory.
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills are required.
